Wolf Fang: Kuuga 2001 was released in Japanese arcades in 1991.The game was released for the Sony PlayStation on May 10, 1996, and to the Sega Saturn on March 28, 1997. Both conversions were developed by Xing Entertainment (famous for the arcade port collection known as Arcade Gears). The console versions have added features such as a new title screen, new introduction, an original redbook audio soundtrack and a staff roll after the endings.
In 2010, the game was added to the PlayStation Network to allow users to download to and play either on the PSP or PS3. In 2014, MonkeyPaw Games released it on PSN for Western audiences.
Hanafuda Graffiti - Koi Monogatari uses that Hanafuda rules and features different girl character to play vs and also different game modes (story and vs). In the story mode the player controls a young boy that will go around town meeting different girls and play hanafuda games with them.
Toppy & Rappy can be seen as a sucessor in spirit to Metal Saver, although it seems inferior to the two years older game in many ways. Not only does it run in a lower resolution, but the art style is very inconsistent between sprites and backgrounds as well.
Once again one male and one female character are used as protagonists, but this time they have equal abilities and only differ in their looks. Instead of grabbing powerups directly, the two gather money by defeating enemies, which is used to buy weapons and ammunition in a shop between stages.

BS Dragon Quest is a version of Dragon Quest released for the Super Famicom add-on peripheral Satellaview, via broadcast, in Japan. It was divided in chapters, that could be playable only for an hour, and consisted of four one-hour scenarios which players would download on a weekly schedule. Players were tasked with leveling their character, collecting medals and completing scenario-specific conditions with special events designed to occur under specific conditions in real-time. It was compatible with the SoundLink add-on.
