I lived in rural North Carolina during my elementary school years, and loved to explore the forests, ponds, and trails that surrounded my neighborhood. These places are all but gone now due to encroaching development, so making a game that retraces the trail to the creek has been a way for me to preserve and revisit some really happy childhood memories.
"I'll be here" is a 10-hour prototype made for the NYU Game Center's prototype studio MFA class. This prototype is designed to be played alongside Emperatriz Ung's "On A Cloudy Day."
Travle is a daily country guessing game, where players must create a route from one given country to another which passes through the fewest amount of countries possible.

With minimal resources and a maze-like woodland to escape, you'd do anything to survive...even sacrifice your humanity! Will you keep grinding and fighting for a route home, or submit to the natural pressures and adapt to your new life?
