In this installment of the EVE series, the two protagonists are once again the young careless private detective Kojiroh Amagi, and the sexy government agent Marina Houjou. Immediately afterwards he receives a call from his ex-girlfriend, who tells him a girl has been kidnapped, and sends him a picture of that girl. Lake Masters EX is a single player, bass fishing game. The player competes in tournaments over the course of a season and gains points by winning or at least finishing in the rankings. In all there are twenty-four tournaments spread over three lakes, there are no tournaments on the private lake.
