Sakigake!! Otokojuku is a 2D fighting game based on the manga series. Fighters are cel-shaded and colored with bright colors for a distinctive look. The fighting is presented on a 2D plane and hearkens back to old school fighting games where the camera pulls in when the combatants are close and out when they're far apart. Backgrounds are well done including one where a troupe of yankii gangsters are apparently punching the air and another where seated monks sit forlornly in the background.
Dokapon the World is a 2004 PlayStation 2 game in the Dokapon series created by Asmik Ace Entertainment. Sting helped Asmik with this game. This is the only game that takes place in the real world.
In this game, the players will need to fight masters to get special jobs. Players will use their attack skills to defeat monsters. Events will also occur, and some of them are special mini-games.
Zuisouroku fills in the gaps in the Hakuouki story. You can see the everyday lives of Chizuru and the Shinsengumi members. Discover secrets that the men didn't tell you in the original game and unlock scenarios that are only mentioned briefly in the main story.
Retrace the routes and see new scenes for yourself. This game contains more heart melting moments, delicately drawn CGs and fully voiced scenes. Come meet the Shinsengumi swordsmen and tame the bloodthirsty monster within them.
Years before the beginning of Hakuouki, the Shinsengumi was known as the Mibu Roushigumi. A wandering young man named Ibuki Ryuunosuke falls in with the group by chance just after they first come to Kyoto, and while grudgingly making friends with the members within, witnesses the dawning era of the Shinsengumi.
