Hitting store shelves in a springtime when hundreds of thousands of Hideo Kojima fans were anxiously awaiting the projected summer release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PlayStation 3, this PlayStation 2 compilation is presented as an opportunity to catch up on back story, as well as to play (or re-play) through three of the earlier PlayStation consoles' most highly acclaimed stealth games. Included are a PlayStation 2 port of the original PlayStation version of Metal Gear Solid -- the game that some say defined the stealth genre -- and the "Directors Cut" editions of its two PS2 sequels, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.
World Heroes Anthology is the complete collection (on one disc) of one of SNK's most popular 2D fighting game series World Heroes. The titles included are: World Heroes, World Heroes 2, World Heroes Jet, and World Heroes Perfect. The collection contains 56 characters using hand-to-hand and weapons based fighting mixed with special super-human abilities enabling each character to perform special attacks.
World Heroes Anthology follows the storyline of Dr. Brown, a scientist, who having perfected a time machine has organized a fighting tournament throughout all of history to see who is the best fighter of all time. True to this plot, many of the fighters are based on actual historical figures.
The story is a separate continuation from the anime and follows the adventures of Saito and Louise when they are tasked with checking out a library after reports of ghosts inhabiting it arise. During the search Louise goes missing, and when they find her Saito and crew discover Louise has lost her memory. The librarian tells them they will need to go into the various books in the library to recover Louise's memory. Saito and friend's adventure into the world of the books then begins. Notable changes from the other entries in the series include the "tsundere meter" being reworked from a notched bar to a gradient circle gauge, while also lacking the turn based combat sections from the first entry.

Iridium Runners is a futuristic running game that pits competitors against each other on hazard-riddled race tracks in foot races. Players can choose one of 20 characters that have unique running skills and techniques. Some of the characters and tracks can only be unlocked as the game progresses.
All of the runners will do just about anything to win, so the action can become down and dirty. Almost anything goes during the races including knocking opponents completely off the track with a well-placed kick, fist or weapon. Power-ups and booster items are scattered around the course for increasing performance, speed or providing a new method of attack. Strategy comes into play by knowing which character and which "pod" sidekick to choose.
There are three modes of play: Single Race, Cup and Championship. Each offers unique environments, different obstacles and challenges.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, originally released in Japan as Gundam Musou (ガンダム無双 Gandamu Musō?), is a video game based on the Gundam anime series. It was developed by Omega Force and published by Bandai Namco Games. Its gameplay is derived from Koei's popular Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. An expanded port for PlayStation 2 called Gundam Musou Special was released on February 28, 2008 in Japan, featuring new scenarios and mobile suits.
