Colony Wars is a combat fighter game set in space. You, as the player, join as a recruit in the League's fleet. Missions take place in various fighters, from a 1st person view inside the cockpit, or a 3rd person view from behind your ship. Ships have separate meters for shields and armor, and the player must cycle between weapons designed specifically to damage each. At the most basic, purple lasers must drain a target's shields, followed by switching to red lasers to destroy them.
The game features advanced lighting and particle effects for the Playstation, as well as a basic simulation of Newtonian physics. Thrusters are only active for as long as the accelerate button is held down. The player can burst fire their thrusters and drift, allowing for some advanced maneuvers. The campaign also features multiple endings and branching missions/storylines, based on your performance in the previous operations.

A racing game, in a similar vain to Mario Kart, using Jim Henson's Muppets as characters. It was developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Midway.
The Japanese release, Winning Eleven 3 was re-released in 1999 as Winning Eleven 3: Final Ver.. The major changes and improvements have been focused on graphic and statistical updates rather than on engine itself. The most significant differences from the original are:
Whole look of the game is less vivid in order to increase the level of realism.
Some home, away and goalkeepers kits have been updated (including the All Star teams).
The appearance of goals and nets has been changed.
Squads have been updated to exactly reflect 1998 FIFA World Cup squads, the number of players in line-ups has been extended to 22 as well.
Three difficulty levels instead of five: easy, medium and hard.
The choice of match length has been widen to 30 minutes in spaces of 5.
Match settings in Exhibition Mode now include the choice of uniforms, extended period, penalty shoot-out and golden goal.
During the Cup Mode the statistics of scores and assists have been added.

Rayman Rush is a on-foot racing game developed and published by Ubisoft, based on the Rayman universe. In many ways, it is like half of a port of Rayman Arena, featuring conversions of the same race tracks, the same introduction movie and also character theme songs (it, however, lacks the battles from M, and the character roster is different). It is a 1-2 player game, and each race has 2 characters running (1 in certain game modes). The game was released 4 months after Rayman M/Arena.
Races take place on 12 tracks in four worlds and there are five main modes of play: Training, Championship, Time Attack, Lum, and Target. Some of the modes of play in Rayman Rush concern more combative contests, as opposed to straightforward racing. Success allows players to unlock new characters and play modes. Two Rayman Rush players can race head-to-head, split-screen style.
Third person shooter with platforming elements about bombastic, if a bit dimwitted, superhero Captain Blasto. Alien overlord Bosc has conquered Uranus, kidnapped Space Babes and now wants Earth. Blasto must stop him.
V-Rally is a rally racing game initially developed by Eden Studios for the PlayStation, published in North America by Electronic Arts under the title of Need for Speed: V-Rally. Later ported to PC, N64, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color.
It features 11 official rally cars and more than 40 courses with dynamic weather, terrain, and time-of-day variations. Players can fine-tune vehicle settings such as suspension, gear ratios, and steering before competing across three main modes: Arcade, Championship, and Time Trial. Anna Kournikova's Smash Court Tennis is a tennis video game featuring the likeness of professional tennis player Anna Kournikova. The game features two practice modes, tournaments and exhibition matches. Winning in tournaments rewards world ranking points which unlock new characters to use, each with different attributes and skills and extra items to use.
Psygnosis hits back with Formula 1 98 not only providing a new game engine and features but also developer Visual Science. Formula 1 98 also sports a real 1998 FIA licences insuring real tracks, cars, racers, teams, more detailed statistics and other F1 lifelike aspects.
Visually Visual Science have managed to tweak field depth and reduce pop up while providing the same detailed, fast visuals the first two were known for. Players also witness the action from a new cockpit view with realistic driver head animation and new particle effects have been added to heighten realism and crash effects. Also check out startling commentary now not only with famous English commentators but also other languages provide real commentators, certainly a good option for those who prefer non-English commentary.
Cars are also modelled upon 1998 versions with greater attention to detail and advertising while all tracks have been greatly improved likewise. The Interface now features a track map in arcade mode while existing car dynamics
T’ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger is a PlayStation game released in 1999. The game is set in an oriental landscape populated by clans of animals, such as Leopards and Snakes. The game's protagonist, T'ai Fu, is the last remaining survivor of the Tiger clan and must journey to defeat the Dragon Master and avenge his kind. On the way, he learns about his clouded past and masters several Kung Fu styles, one from each clan master he defeats. The game become one of the influences for the DreamWorks Animation film series, Kung Fu Panda and Jeffrey Katzenberg worked on both of them.
Twisted Metal: Small Brawl is a vehicular combat game in which the player takes control of one of twelve unique remote control vehicles. While in control of a vehicle, the player can accelerate, steer, brake, reverse, activate the turbo, turn tightly, toggle between and activate weapons using the game controller's d-pad, analog sticks and buttons.
No Fear Downhill Mountain Biking is a mountain bike video game released in 1999 on PlayStation and 2001 on the Game Boy Color, Dreamcast version been planned but never released. The game was developed and published by Codemasters.
An extreme sports game, the mountain bike consists of mountain tracks from circuits around the world of varying difficulty. The game was inspired by tracks including San Francisco's Telegraph Hill and New Zealand's Matukituki Rapids.
The game has eight different riders and a number of tracks for the bikes to descend.
Beyblade: Let it Rip! is a tournament-style game with minimal role-playing elements. It features two modes: Tournament Mode and Free Battle. Players can also customize their Beyblade in Customize Mode.
The game is based on the original Beyblade series.
Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn, otherwise known as Chase the Express, is a video game created by Sugar and Rockets for the PlayStation, and released in 2000. On March 16, 2000 Activision announced that they had acquired the North American publishing rights to Sony Computer Entertainment's Japanese action-adventure game, Chase The Express. The game was then renamed Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn for the North American market.
The PS1 version of Tales of Phantasia contains new features including an animated opening sequence produced by Japanese studio Production I.G., re-drawn character sprites and backgrounds, a 3D-rendered world map, and re-recorded character audio to better accommodate the compact disc format. The inclusion of animated Skits and a modified version of the battle system resembling that used in Destiny, were added. For the battle system, the team wanted to increase the overall battle speed and combo potential. Suzu Fubayashi, a non-playable supporting character in the original release, was also made playable as an optional party member.
