Crazy Hit is a game produced by U.F.O. Soft that was released together with Crazy Hit 2 (known as the Playstation Pokémon for using unlicensed art from the franchise) and a special controller to play both.
It is currently not possible to find the game or recordings of it available, so the only image of it available is the one on the back of the set's box. From the box art and the description on it (in addition to the use of the controller), it is possible to deduce that it shares the same gameplay as Crazy Hit 2 (a whack-a-mole like game), but without the use of Pokémon.
In Crazy Hit 2 it is possible to see on the initial screen that the game was made by Poho and Majorros, however without the file for this game, it is uncertain to say that this game was also produced by both developers.
Crazy Hit 2 is an unlicensed Whack-A-Mole style game for the PlayStation featuring Pokémon characters.
The game originally came with a pop'n music-style peripheral called Crazy Hit, manufactured by U.F.O. Soft (who also created the Photo Hunter games), as the game was intended for use with the peripheral (the peripheral also came with two discs specially designed for it; Crazy Hit 1, the other disc, is currently undumped); however, the game could also be played with a normal controller. Possibly due to the branding, Pokémon Crazy Hit 2 were later independently released by bootleggers separately from the peripheral.
Due to the homebrew nature of the game, the title is very small by PlayStation standards, weighing at just 5 MB.
This game features the main five Rangers as playable characters with the Titanium Ranger as an extra unlockable character. The game can be played as one or two player mode and also features voice clips by the actual Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue actors and actresses. Once chosen, the player/players stay as the chosen ranger/rangers for the whole game. For the Megazord Battle, the player on controller one can use the Supertrain Megazord. For the final stage, it's replaced with the Omega Megazord. Another special feature for the game is a password system, where special cheat codes can give the rangers infinite health, lives, continues and powered up attacks, as well as access to an art and picture gallery, the option to begin the game on any of the first six of the seven levels and the Titanium Ranger. The Final stage of the game can only be accessed if the player saves the game on the PlayStation Memory Card after completing the penultimate one.
The pachinko machines are japanese slot gambling machines used for amusement and prizes. Although pachinko machines were originally strictly mechanical, modern pachinko machines are a cross between a pinball machine and a video slot machine.
There are many types of pachinko machines and parlor regulations, but most of them conform to a similar style of play. Players can buy metal balls by either inserting either cash, a pre-paid card, or their member's card directly into the machine they want to use. At 4 yen per ball that's 250 balls for every 1000 yen. These balls are then shot into the machine from a ball tray with the purpose of attempting to win more balls. The pachinko machine has a digital slot machine on a large screen in the center of its layout, and the objective here is to get 3 numbers or symbols in a row for a jackpot.
