One of the greatest scientists, Dolcius, as always, was sitting in his laboratory and calculating something, looking for a limit of the sequence.
It seemed to him that he was on the threshold of some important discovery
You play as Orphrey, a girl who is the Snowglobe's bell keeper. Next to the Snowglobe sits the Hourglass, which contains a sense of time unlike the Snowglobe. A boy known as Galimatias lives within the Hourglass. Galimatias helps the neighboring Snowglobe's village keep track of time by leaving written signals in the sand for Orphrey to ring her bell in sync with.
Help Orphrey ring the bell according to Galimatias' queues, and look for her lost letters!
Variant: Limits connects mathematics and game play, empowering deeper engagement with calculus content, making the learning experience more fun, and helping students succeed.
Nursery Rhyme is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Lump of Sugar and released on November 25, 2005 for Windows.
The game, taking place 500 years after the events of Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity, is set in a fictional Japan where the existence of magic has been recognized by society, and thus has been the subject of much research. Magic is also applied to everyday life; for example, stuffed toys are able to talk. Users of magic must wear a special ring which controls their powers, and are urged to blend in with society.
Despite Nursery Rhyme being set in the future, Japan's culture is depicted as unchanged for the most part. Many of the characters attend Shousei Gakuen, a prestigious all-girls school which provides its students with magic classes, as well as academic courses. Shousei Gakuen hosts a female-dominated sport event known as Sophilos.
"Aaron vs. Ruth: Battle of the Big Bats" brings baseball's all time greatest players to life. You can battle against the computer or head to head against a friend in Exhibition, Season and Series games in historical ballparks like Ebbets Field and the Polo grounds. This game combines old time traditions (Home Run Derby, baggy uniforms, manual scoreboards, echoing announcer), and modern day baseball (radar gun, pitch location screen, updated pitcher/batter reports).
Another feature is that some of these superstars use their actual motions. See Willie Stargell's famous batting style, Juan Marichal's high leg kick delivery, and Babe Ruth's home run trot, just to name a few.
The game was stored in three separate CDs. The gameplay shares many puzzle elements and first-person gameplay to Myst. When the player clicks the cursor on where the mouse icon changes to a triforce icon, the location changes. Clicking on an object allows the player to get a closer look. The player's main objective is to collect four special coins to use at the Oracle booth before proceeding to the office building to locate the deed. The fairground is divided into four sections. In each section there are some playable minigames. Playing the minigames costs a few tokens. Jamie starts the player off with ten tokens. Winning the minigames earns the player additional tokens depending on the winning score. At least one minigame in each fairground section earns the player a special coin. After solving the puzzles in the park's office building, the player must use whatever clues gathered to find out which one of nine park employees is the thief who stole the deed.
Navy Strike is an ambitious flight simulation from Rowan that tries to add elements of strategy in typical flight sim gameplay. The result is an uneven game that will appeal only to veteran flight sim and strategy gamers.
A computer adaptation of the classic dice game Yahtzee. Players take turns throwing five dice and attempting to make scoring combinations (full house, straight). The elusive five of a kind is referred to as a Yahtzee (hence the game's name).
Throughout the centuries, people have always been fascinated by tales of the supernatural, mysterious or unearthly characters, inexplicable occurrences beyond scientific explanation, and mythical creatures outside civilization. Incredibly, some of these otherwise unbelievable stories are supported by factual evidence. As you open your mind and challenge the way you think about the world, expect the unexpected.
Operation: Inner Space is an action game developed in 1992 and published in 1994 by Software Dynamics for Windows. The player's mission is to enter the computer (represented by "Inner Space") in a spaceship and recover the icons and resources that have been set loose by an invasion, and ultimately to destroy the "Inner Demon". The player interacts with other spacecraft along the way, and can compete in races for icons.
You can choose a ship from one of six teams (there is also a seventh AI-only team), and interactions will depend almost entirely on which team you pick. All of the teams have relations with each other.
