One planet turns out to be a real El Dorado, full of natural resources. But as the human conquerors in their armed mecha encounter the extraterrestrial inhabitants a dreadful war breaks out. In this strategy title, the player researches into new technologies and continues to re-arm his mecha in Mytran Wars. Battles are thereby fought in vast 3D landscapes against the merciless AI or other human opponents in various multiplayer modes.
Sega's long-running RPG goes handheld for the first time in North America with Phantasy Star Portable, a story set between the events of Phantasy Star Universe and Ambition of the Illuminus. Players return to the Gurhal system where they join the new character Vivienne in an attempt to investigate and clear out an area contaminated after the perceived eradication of the alien SEED menace. Gamers can choose from a wide variety of options when creating a custom avatar, and then set about meeting new characters and collecting more than 150 items. Multiplayer fans can also join up to three friends for wireless co-operative exploration and combat.
A port of Senjō no Kizuna, entitled Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield Portable was made available for the PlayStation Portable.
Features exclusive to the PSP version include "Mission Mode", which gives basic tutorials and allows up to three players to accomplish predetermined objectives, and "Extended Operation Mode" which pits teams against one another in three consecutive arcade matches. The map can be determined in the beginning, but the latter two mission maps are subject to random selection (or is determined by the losing team if in multiplayer). The winning team will be given a handicap on subsequent missions (units and bases starting with HP damage, reducing frame defense, etc.).

Sunday vs Magazine is a crossover fighting game featuring dozens of characters from two of Japan's most popular shonen manga magazines: Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday and Kodansha's Shonen Magazine. It is a cel-shaded locked-view fighting game much like Street Fighter IV, and includes more than a dozen characters from each publisher's catalog, including contemporary series as well as older classic titles.
The game features three main modes. First, there is arcade mode, which pits the player against seven randomly-selected characters in order. Next is quest mode, which plays more like a scrolling beat-em-up and tasks the player with fulfilling various time-limited objectives like destroying targets or collecting keys, and which can be played solo or with up to three friend in wireless co-op. Last is the free battle mode, where the player can play a free battle against the computer or a friend via local wireless play.

In Disgaea 2, players will take on the role of a young fighter named Adell and travel the Netherworld to defeat the evil overlord Zenon. Battles will take place on a 3D grid-based field. During combat, players will take turns with the enemy to move and attack.
Asterz is a shoot-em-up space game partly inspired by the classic shooter Asteroids, originally released in 1979 by Atari. This homebrew is made by Team Duck Production, with a unqiue combination of utilizing 3D rendering and 2D object.

Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 is the sixth game in the Heat the Soul series based on Tite Kubo's Bleach, which was released in Japan on May 14, 2009. The game has a new championship mode added in which you can fight tournament style similar to Bleach Soul Carnival and a customization mode exclusive to Heat the Soul 6. The game's story mode starts from the day Ichigo got his powers to the Espada/Soul Reaper showdowns to date in the anime. It boasts an amazing character roster consisting of 74 playable characters including Senna, Sojiro Kusaka, Dark Rukia, and the Visored and Tessai in their Soul Reaper uniforms from the "Turn Back the Pendulum" arc. Its opening theme is "Koyoi, Tsuki ga Miezu Tomo" by Porno Graffitti which was also used for Bleach: Fade to Black.
