Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 is a role-playing video game developed by Square Enix and Tose and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the sequel to Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, and is the sixth game in the Dragon Quest Monsters series. It was released in Japan on March 24, 2016.
The top screen of the Nintendo 3DS shows a third-person perspective of the main character and the world around him, called "Break World", while the bottom screen shows a map of the nearby area, with the current goal circled in red. The protagonist carries a device known as a Reactor, which can be used to discover hidden objects or paths. Some paths require the player to be riding a monster to traverse. Players will be able to ride on the 500 different monsters that populate the game world. The monsters come in either land, sea, or sky varieties, meaning that different types monsters are required to traverse different paths. Players can also equip them with accessories and level them up.

Matches are largely determined by the players' statistics, but they are played in real-time. Prompts appear to quickly select a specific player, for instance for the reception, and lines are drawn for other types of moves.

Fire Emblem Fates - Special Edition was a limited time bundle containing both base stories, Birthright and Conquest, and gave access to DLC for the 3rd story, Revelation, when it became available. The games were otherwise sold separately though you could get the second story path digitally at a discount. You need to be have completed chapter 6 in the either game to access the other stories, and the DLCs, path.
Conquest is the hardest of the 3 paths having no ability to grind experience from maps, tougher mission objectives, and giving less money and experience for those missions. Birthright, the easiest path, has the ability to use scouting missions to grind experience and money and simpler mission objectives that give greater amounts of experience and money. Revelation is in the middle as the scouting missions are available but the mission objectives are similar to Conquest's. This is ignoring the 3 difficulty settings in-game.

Meitantei Pikachu: Shin Konbi Tanjou (Great Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo) was released exclusively in Japan on February 3, 2016 on the Nintendo eShop featuring the first three chapters of what would later be internationally released as Detective Pikachu. From January 27, 2016 to February 29, 2016, the game could be purchased in Japan for ¥1,200, instead of the normal price of ¥1,500. Players who purchased Birth of a New Duo were able to receive a ¥1,500 discount on the full Detective Pikachu game until April 22, 2018. The game was removed from the eShop on January 12, 2018, just before the announcement of the full version.
