Parker Brothers released contemporary ports for the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit computers, ColecoVision, and Commodore 64. A version for the ZX Spectrum was coded but never released.
Armed only with a bucket of paint and a six inch pure bristle painting brush, Banky Van Daime sets out to make the most of the Bank Holiday and paint his exquisite castle. Unfortunately his timing couldn't be worse. A malware attack at the local robot zoo has sent the AI Lions on a rampage, and they've found their way into the castle!
Not one to let a little problem like murderous lions get in the way of a good masonry paint job, Banky pushes on; occasionally spilling a little paint on the floor (which confuses the AI Lions and causes them to turn away)
Once a level (room) is complete and all walls are painted, Banky can move onto the next room. And then the next room. ad infinitum.
(Well, not exactly ad infinitum!)
The game features 10 Levels of a-mazing action! Can you beat them all?
Wycheweald is a first-person role-playing adventure game for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum featuring exploration, minor puzzles and turn-based combat.
It’s designed to run on 48K and 128K machines.
Manic Miner - Super Pre-School Edition is MM hacked so that you can walk straight into the portal in each cavern. In fact, the player has to move quickly in "Solar Power Generator" and "The Final Barrier", or else they will lose lives after vertical guardians collide with room elements, and in "The Sixteenth Cavern" inaction will get the payer killed by a horizontal guardian.
The game was an entry in the comp.sys.sinclair Crap Games Competition 1999.
