Quest for the Holy Joystick is a traditional text adventure and the first satirical output from the then up-and-coming zany Delta 4 Software. It spoofs the contemporary software industry and the ZX Microfairs that took place in the UK in the 80's by sending the player on a magical mystery tour all over London
The player starts out at Downing Street number 5 and must take seemingly random journey on a red London bus to get to 'the umpteenth ZX Microfair at Alexandra Palace'. Along the way the player encounters numerous cultural figures as well as some of the gaming press. The game also makes excessive fun of the text adventure scene of the time.
The interface is text driven with few static graphics, as it is written using 'The Quill' the parser is limited to verb / noun input.

EARTH, 2562 A.D.
After centuries of war and suffering, peace slowly began to return to the world. Just as civilization had started to recover, however, another crisis fell upon it - an extra-terrestrial armada pillaged the earth, taking with them virtually all of the known supplies of gold. Society was plunged into chaos - financial markets experienced a recession of unparalleled proportions, electronics production ceased altogether, and people with dental fillings dared not wander out in public.
An international task force was created with the aim of recovering the gold. Scraping together what they could with the miniscule amount that had not been plundered, a shuttle was constructed that would serve justice upon the invaders. It contained a few spherical exploration pods, which would navigate the planetary surface by means of bouncing upon it.
You are responsible for piloting the pods and returning all of the gold to Earth. If this mission fails, humanity will be doomed to return to the Stone Age.

Skyx takes over the same operation while bringing it a new dimension. First, you no longer move a cursor, but a warrior, a mage, an elf or a acrobat. The character is chosen at the start of the game and has its own characteristics. For example, the elf is very fast and the mage has a protective shield. Your task of conquering the screen is complicated by the presence of numerous enemies who are reluctant to be uprooted! The spark is formidable: it pursues you as soon as you draw a territory, and catches up with you if you draw it too vast ... An all green alien also wanders to the right and to the left; if it touches the line of the territory you are delimiting, instant death! The witch is hardly friendly either, and is bent on restricting your conquests. Fortunately, there are also bonuses: regenerative apples, “flums” too, which bring extra life. However, this is not a reason to jump on any object lying around: the bottles of Gnaps are very, very harmful ...

RACE ACE: is based on 100cc Kart Racing. The Track layout is similar in design to circuits at Rye House and Tilbury, two of Britain's tope specialists Karting venues. Experienced drivers lap at speeds of up to 70 mph often inches from the competitors. Wide slick tyres are used to give the lightweight karts phenomenal corning and breaking capabilities demanding split second timing. Race Ace is designed to reflect the closeness and speed of action experienced by kart drivers.
