Giant Gram is the sequel to the ST-V/Saturn "puroresu" title "All Japan Pro Wrestling Featuring Virtua". Both titles feature AJPW superstars, as well as Virtua Fighter characters. Japanese "puroresu" is all about fighting spirit and appeal. Gimmicks and soap opera theatrics do not get you "over" the way they do in the US of A. It's all about ability, athleticism, and sportsmanship.
Giant Gram 2000 is the sequel to Giant Gram: All Japan Pro Wrestling 2. The roster of wrestlers has been greatly increased, now including more of the All Japan roster and even some legendary pro wrestling figures from Japan and the US like Rikidozan, Bruno Sammartino, and Bruiser Brody. The control has been tightened, it's not as easy to block every strike your opponent throws now, likewise you have to be a bit more precise with your commands when attempting moves. There's a greater number of double team moves, and the Burning system has been overhauled.
In Godzilla Generations you play as either Godzilla or Mechagodzilla and have to rage havoc in the city and fend of the army before time runs out.
You can unlock other monsters such as First Generation Godzilla, USA Godzilla and Minira by playing through the game. There are five cities that you can lay to ashes, all located in Japan. Each city has two stages to play through.

The game is a rail shooter like the famed Panzer Dragoon, where you move on a fixed path but can shoot in all directions to take down waves of approaching enemies. The game also features a dodge and a lock-on mechanic. The gameplay is divided in two kinds of levels. The first style features Godzilla rampaging through a Japanese city and taking down all kinds of military devices which try to stop him. The second kind of level is a fight between Godzilla and other giant monsters from the various films.
Charge 'N Blast is a shooting game where you play as one of three marines who have to rid the earth of alien scum. The gameplay is similar to Cabal, you move left and right dodging enemies while charging up you weapons to blast them away.
There are three different marines you can choose from, each with their own set of weapons. As usual there is the balanced character (Johnny Rock), a weaker but faster one (Pamela Hewitt) and a slower but stronger one (Nicholas Woods).
You can choose to play in one player mode, time attack or two player mode. The missions are broken up into small areas where you have to kill all enemies before moving on to the next area. Each mission ends with a boss character such as a giant insect or a Godzilla-like monster.

In this version there are also women teams, which look different but play the same. In-game commentary is provided by Alan Green, Barry Venison and Helen Chamberlain.
Animation includes 200,000 frames. Internet play was offered by Dreamarena. There is an Arcade mode including game styles such as Time Attack and a Survival knock-out tournament. Traditional mode gives you league competitions and the full World Cup.
Gameplay follows the norms of the genre - A to pass, B to throw a high lob, X to shoot, Y to change players, with the triggers to perform modifiers (though passes and lob shots) and sprint, although these can all be changed in the options.
