This is a rom hack designed out of love for Zelda II. It has always had a dreamlike atmosphere to it, and this new adventure really leans into that aspect. Work on this hack started in summer of 2021 with the intention of only making a slightly dreamier variant of the original, but it slowly became its own distinct project. It features new overworlds, towns, dungeons, graphics, and text.

Unlike most Metroid hacks that use the original Metroid as the basis, this Metroid hack is a complete overhaul of the game Blaster Master for NES. Do you love Batman, but yearn for more? Do you find the game to be too easy? Are you looking for a challenge? If so then this may be the hack for you.
This hack came about because of conversations with Batman speedrunner junkyard_dave wherein existing hacks of the game were lamented. This hack aims to rectify the situation by providing a new and difficult experience for anyone daring enough to attempt The Junkyard Challenge.
This hack features all new (and significantly more difficult) stages. Other changes that add to the challenge include enemy placements/health and boss AI. The item drop tables have also been changed. Though difficult, note that damage boosts are not required in this hack. It is possible that some maneuvers that require sub-pixel precision to avoid damage have slipped through the cracks, but this would be no more than a few instances. If well executed nearly all (if not actually all) of the game should be playable damage-less.
A semi-sequel of the author’s previous hack, Final Fantasy ++. It includes adaptations of various dungeons from FFs 3, 4, 5, & 6, SaGa 2, and Dragon Quest 5, along with a couple of new ones.
This hack replaces Metroid’s password system with a saving system, offering three save files. The file selection menu shows the player’s equipment, and as an added bonus, the player’s health is now saved (no need to grind for health every time you resume your game). The save system can be a handy addition for those who don’t like to use save-states, or those playing on a flash-cart.
Included is a scrollable map when the game is paused and the ability to combine wave and ice beams.
Version 0.3 fixes a bug that could prevent the game from booting correctly in some cases. The hack has been tested and confirmed to work on the PowerPak as well as a normal cart.
