Grit Under the Eyelid is recycledoj's first solo release for Quake, for Arcane Dimensions 1.8 Patch 1. This is primarily single player focused, and makes some pretty extensive use of the jump boots for exploration, and includes a lot of platforming as a result.
Evil Returns is a 32-map megawad. There are various styles of maps including various themes such as easy maps, small, medium & large maps, puzzle maps, a couple joke maps, slaughter style, high-contrast, hell-themed, tech base, and even a hotel-themed map.
The ENDOOM Mapping Contest 2024 was an event organized by endoomer, the member of LegacyZ and the Russian Doom Community, on Doom Power forum. The task was to create a brand new level in a decent period of two months on a favorite theme, using any suitable resources, formats (from the list) and source ports. The map creation period lasted from January 3, 2024 to March 3, 2024.
All maps were divided into two independent groups corresponding to their formats.
Classic group: Vanilla, Limit-removing, Boom, MBF21.
Modern group: ZDoom, GZDoom, Eternity, Zandronum.
Die Rowdy is a 44 map megawad created as the thirty-third edition of the Pineapple Under the Sea Speedmapping series in December of 2023. Loosely Christmas themed and highly Die Hard themed, each map was made with a skyscraper prefab and an elevator, courtesy of ViolentBeetle's Hellavator, of which players will be required to find a red keycard in order to advance to the next floor.
Aliens: Redacted is a fan-made retro-style 2.5D shooter set in the Alien universe in the year 2171. You take on the role of Sgt. Braun Rodriguez, a mercenary for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, tasked with investigating a distress call from the prison transport USS Boethiah crash-landed on LV-059, a planet suspected of Xenomorph activity.
This mod is sequel to already done and released mod for HL2 - Ravenholm, where you find something about John's story.
The mod was planned to bring two episodes, while fully released first episode in 2009, EOTS: Ep Two had an incomplete release (A Demo) in 2010, due to the developer having moved to do Starcraft 2 Maps instead of continuing to work on Source Engine at the time.
"Call of the Void" picks up where "Call of the Machine" leaves off. With our protagonist trapped in the void, suddenly, they hear a voice in their mind. The entity speaking identifies itself as one of the ancient gods Vadrigar, who proposes to the protagonist to escape the void by sending them on a new mission for revenge against the Stroggs. This is in response to the Stroggs transforming the fallen Vadrigars (Chton and Shub Niggurath) and their followers into partially mechanical creatures in the service of the Strogg leader Makron.
