Inspired by the movie Die Hard, the episode consists of 17 levels by 15 different map designers and progresses from the lobby to the rooftop of a skyscraper. Each level is confined to its own floor of the building, and although each floor features a different theme, various design constraints ensure a certain degree of consistency throughout the episode.
Duke Nukem's Penthouse Paradise is an official add-on level for Duke Nukem 3D, jointly published by Penthouse Magazine and GT Interactive. It is free to download and can be played with either the original version of Duke Nukem 3D or the Atomic Edition. It was conceptualized and developed by Jeffrey D. Erb and Mark Farish of Intersphere Communications. It was released on May 1, 1997 on GT Interactive's and Penthouse Magazine's respective websites.
Penthouse Paradise is the only official add-on for Duke Nukem 3D that is available for free.
Taking place after the first film, you play as a veteran Mobile Infantry Elite Commando who generally goes into missions alone, rarely going into with actual backup, on Arachnid planets. Your first mission begins with escaping from Starhip Sparta, before landing to Kaliatho. The objectives were either to rescue officers, to investigate facilities that have lost contact, or to hold off against Arachnid assaults. The TC has new planets. They are Kaliatho, Gamma, Planet 3, and more.
Block-Quake is a total conversion mod that replaces all of Quake's vanilla models with familiar looking "blocky" monsters, weapons, items and bosses! Clone is a genuinely creepy FPS developed on the Sony Net Yaroze PlayStation, it's a very impressive game considering it was created in 10 weeks under the limitations of the Net Yaroze platform.
