Gekibo 2 is the sequel to Gekisha Boy. It is a fast-paced side-scrolling game where the player controls the junior photographer Pete Goldman working for the newspaper Planet Times in Japan. In each stage the goal is to photograph as many weird or funny situations as they occur in the environment while the screen scrolls to the right automatically. The player has minor control over the character's movement as the focus is on moving the cursor used to snap pictures. It is possible to capture any part of the environment and pictures are lined up in the bottom right side of the screen. Xiao Xiao No. 2 is the second installment in the Xiao Xiao Flash web series, and the first one with interactive elements. The player controls a stickman who must get past a wall, avoid cannon fire, and defeat an opponent in one-on-one combat. In each of the three levels the player's role is to press Space when an oscillating "power bar" is at its fullest. If the player presses Space at the wrong time, a cutscene will play in which the hero is killed (there are two possible death scenes, depending on how close the power bar was to its maximum.) However, pressing Space at the right time instead shows a cutscene where the stickman destroys the obstacle and moves on to the next one. In this one-on-one fighting game based on the famous plastic robot fighters, players not only get to pit various Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots up against one another, they also get to customize their bots' various parts to make them even more steel-twisting and destructive than before. Players initially have 12 different robots to choose from before they head off to the arena. With names such as Slamurai, Sir Haxalot, and General Warfare, it's easy to see that Mattel Interactive is going for a bit of a tongue-and-cheek feel. While the names aren't overly serious, the fighting is less comedic, with the robots throwing all of their various armaments at their opponents in order to assure destruction. These weapons are varied, from swords to bombs to Gatling guns.
