Arcade's Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1 is a collection of Atari arcade games for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The aim of the game was simple yet unique. Starting with three divers (lives) on a motor boat you were to drop into the deep blue and gather underwater riches such as pearls and treasure. Nothing like this had been released on the ZX Spectrum before, a game based around wet suit shenanigans was totally original.
Controlling your sprite was a little tricky at first, but once you got the hang of it you would be moving through the underwater caverns with the grace of Shelly Winters. Well nearly.
You could rotate your character clockwise or anti-clockwise then 'swim' in the direction you were facing. Acceleration to full speed took a couple of seconds (realistic) as did slowing down to a halt (again, realistic).
It was up to you to collect pearls from oyster shells (which would open and shut, timing to swoop in and nab the pearl was key), and to locate lost treasure (but only in the deepest parts of the underwater cavern).
There were hazards to avoid in the water such as sharks, jellyfish, eels and giant octupus. C
Bomboy, also known as Explosion Kid (轟炸小子) is an unlicensed Sega Mega Drive game released by Gamtec in 1993. It is a simple clone of Bomberman. Bomboy is said to have been a pack-in game with the unlicensed Dynacom Megavision console.
You are trapped in a twenty-level creature filled maze. Your job is to make your way to the bottom and get out alive. Pick up the iron bar and use it to destroy enemies that get in your way. Find the silver key to open the locked warp portal leading to the next level.
Requires 3-D glasses to play.
You must press any key to start the game. It will then ask you if you want to use Keyboard or Joystick. After that section, the game will start.
The aim of each level of the game is to kill all of the floaters, the orange/magenta ball-like things that roam the maze. To do this you have one weapon on your side - an infinite supply of bombs. When you drop a bomb, they are automatically primed, and will explode after just a few seconds.
So to kill the baddies you must get close enough to them to within the range of the bomb, drop it, and quickly run around a corner to make sure you too are not caught in the explosion. The bombs will destroy any floaters that are caught in the blast, and also certain sections of wall that are in the way, reducing the
playing area to open landscape.
More and more floaters are added each level, and the game does get quite difficult. You can also only drop one bomb at a time.
The SNES version of "The Hunt for Red October" is one of 11 games that uses the Super Scope accessory, though it is only used to play bonus stages that put the submarine in first person view, where the player has to destroy a number of enemies and projectiles. Soukyuu Guren-tai is a vertically scrolling shooter game released by Raizing in 1996 for Arcades, with a Saturn port released in 1997. The game is unusual in that, rather than using a 3:4 aspect ratio to better suit the vertically-oriented gameplay, it uses a horizontal monitor (4:3) in the style of Neo Geo vertical shooters as well as the later Radiant Silvergun and Giga Wing. There is an English version of the game titled Terra Diver, but it was never officially released.
Drive your cattle along the famous Chisholm Trail in this top-down arcade-style game. Use the keyboard or joysticks to maneuver your steer around the playing field. But watch out for rustlers who want to steal your cattle, and wranglers who want to put their own brands on your stock. The game features 9 levels of difficulty.
In Henhouse, you are trying to help a farmer collect his eggs. Eggs are laid in the hen house near the top of the screen, and then move to one of five chutes. When the chute is full, you can collect the eggs and take them to your truck. If the chute is full and another egg lands in it, you'll have a cracked egg. Six cracked eggs will end your game.
Of course, you're not the only one who wants those eggs. Bandits and coyotes appear from time to time. Bandits will steal an egg (earning you a cracked egg), but the coyotes will kill your chickens, ending the game. To stop them, you have to grab your shotgun from the left of the screen and shoot them. There are also two birds flying at the top of the screen. Although they don't harm you, you can shoot them for 50 points.
You must put your gun back when finished defending the hen house, as you cannot collect eggs while holding the gun.
Demon Attack is an arcade action game with gameplay similar to Space Invaders. You control a laser canon at the bottom of the screen, and need to destroy wave after wave of brightly colored demons. The demons bounce around the screen in bizarre patterns, and try to destroy your canon with bombs or lasers. When you shoot a demon, it will be replaced with another or will split into two smaller demons depending on which wave you are playing. When the required number of demons for the current round is finally destroyed, you can move on to the next, more difficult round.
The object of the game is to pick up patients from their homes and race them to the hospital. When a house flashes, that indicates a sick patient is present. Navigate to the house and press the fire button to pick the patient up. Then, drive through the city to get to the hospital. You have to avoid other cars on the road because they will not stop for you. On certain levels, there's a train that makes you sit and wait. You only have a limited amount of time to deliver your patients.
Rotor Raiders is a game very similar to Pac-Man where instead of you are on cleanup. Your character is that of a drain cleaner where you must navigate through the sewers to clean out the mice and their trail as they navigate. Four mice are typically in the sewer per level and each will make capture difficult and unpredictable.
During gameplay there are brief periods of darkness where knowledge of the map design will come in handy to the user. After a brief outage lights are restored and the map can once again be seen.
Who knew sewer cleanup could be so much fun!
The object of this game is to use your paddles to catch as many of the falling popcorn kernels as possible, before they hit the bottom of the popper. You are awarded points for every kernel you catch. The more kernels you catch, the faster the remaining kernels will fall!

In Mario Artist: Talent Studio, the player can create their own characters in 3D, customizing features such as hair, skin, and eye color, voice, clothes, facial features, and body size and type. The process is similar to Nintendo's later Miis, but much more detailed. The characters can then be inserted into movies and animations. Events during these movies can be controlled by pressing the Z-trigger. Images from external video can be imported using the Capture Cartridge.
