Knight Guy in Low Res World: Castle Days is a platformer with some metroidvania elements. Knight Guy's pet (either a dog or a cat) has been kidnapped by an evil dragon, and he has to explore a castle with 100 rooms in order to find and rescue his pet. He must do this within a one hour time limit, all while dealing with the evil dragon and his minions.
Holiday Present Hunt is a small game where you walk around a wintery forest, looking for presents. You have to collect 15 presents to win the game.
Present spawns are always random so if you want to play again, the experience should be slightly different!
This prototype is an is an interpretation of various development phases of the game based on the Alttp prototype assets. This is not an authentic prototype nor does it represent a single or specific point of development.
This is a result of 4 months (maybe 5) of “behind the scenes” hard work, a few assembly hacks and fixes etc. This game was known as A Link To The Past and only has been renamed into A Link To The Proto for the release to stand on it’s own.
There is a lot of changes, prototype assets that made it into the game, but unfortunately due to the multiple iterations of the same tilesets and a rather limited space for graphics, only a few select ones made it into the reconstruction.
But still, there is a lot of places to explore and many unseen things to discover from the proto content that was cut from the final vanilla game by Nintendo.
A mod which allows online multiplayer while playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This mod needs an application called ModLoader64 to work. It also supports cosmetic and audio mods, as well as specific events and collectibles that can be purchased by using a specific currency called Rubies in Morshu's shop (adapted from the CD-i Zelda games).
After the events of Majora's Mask, Link journeys into the outskirts of Hyrule and stumbles upon the Peahat Pub, where he finds out the residents have been stuck in a rain storm for the past 2,000 days.
Steps is a small Minit-like game where instead of dying from time, you die after a certain amount of steps. Explore the cursed island, solve puzzles, and find the hidden coins. Try to run away from the island by finding the Icarus wings as it is the only way to escape the cursed island.
