There is also a collectible currency called Muns, which can be used to purchase items in the dream world. There are two bars displayed on the top-left corner of the screen: ZZZ's; which act as a life bar for the player character that depletes when the player runs into a hazard in the dream world, and PRG which represents how much of the essays been written and increases each time the player works at the table.Ep3

Alongside effects, the player must also find the protagonist's friends within the Otherworld and escort them to the Nexus. The player can also find cassette tapes which can be listened to using the cassette player in the bedroom, revealing little bits of the game's backstory. The protagonist has a health bar that will deplete if they are caught by chasers.
