In the game, the player participates in the annual Strategic Air Command Bombing and Navigation Competition at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. Aircrews from around the world come here to compete against each other, undertaking three missions which are monitored and points are awarded. The best aircrew then receives the Curtis E. LeMay Trophy.
The player can choose between six different planes. After having selected the aircraft the player has to select a mission, and then appropriate weaponry for the selected mission from an array of weapons consisting of different types of missiles and bombs.
When you climb into the cockpit of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, get set for the "flight of your life" as the powerful FALCON AT takes you streaking across the sky at Mach 2.
Experience the intensity of aerial combat in the European Theater of W.W.II following the award-winning Aces of the Pacific, Aces Over Europe is Damon Slye's most accurate and detailed simulation yet.

Aces of the Pacific is a combat flight simulator game developed by Dynamix and published by Sierra Entertainment in 1992. The game takes place during World War II. Player can choose single or instant mission, or choose to take a career path in United States Army Air Forces, United States Navy, United States Marines, Imperial Japanese Army or Imperial Japanese Navy. Its success caused Dynamix to create a very similar follow-up Aces Over Europe in 1993.
Take command of one of seven German U-Boats during WWII and hunt down and destroy allied convoys. This is never an easy task since their escorts and aircraft are waiting to ruin your day. The level of realism, and with it the difficulty, can be set by enabling or disabling ten options, e.g. unlimited ammo, clear sight or even invulnerability.
Campaigns can be started in one of several time slots, allowing you to play for the entire war if you wish. During these campaigns you gain medals and promotions which includes the command of better submarines. You can also choose to play a single mission where you can set certain variables, e.g. number of ships or weather conditions. Specific missions aren't required because the engine "rolls up" convoys and targets, meaning every time you play the missions will change. The type and location of these missions depend on the historical time and the used submarine.
The submarine consists of several rooms where you can access the functions and instruments you'll need, e.g. the
Become a F-14 Naval Aviator undergoing seek and destroy missions while dodging and gunning enemy bogeys in deadly dogfights with your 20mm cannon and air-to-air missiles.
Your cockpit comes with state of the art technology, courtesy of the U.S. Air Force: Display and main computer, Bogey Alert Indicator, G-Force Indicator, Electronic Counter Measures, and a Cannon Overheat Indicator (yes, it can overheat!)...and if your feeling up to it, give the ol'bird a boost to Mach 1.0!
The gameplay like other simulation games consists of taking off, flying, combat and landing. Though most of the gameplay focuses around dogfighting with enemy bogeys (dodging missiles). In addition to that, there are also night-flying missions that add difficulty due to limited vision.
Taking off and landing however, also requires additional skill as your doing it on the USS Enterprise (No relation to Star Trek), not on your standard airstrip. Pay attention to the F.D. officer as your preparing to take off (since he's the boss when it comes
Attention all Naval Aviators! Report to your squadron leaders and prepare for deployment. Your tour of duty will take you around the world on some of the most challenging and dangerous missions of your career. F-18 Hornet is a carrier based adventure. Fast, solid 3-D graphics and responsive instrumentation make for an incredible sensation of flight. Fly missions through a variety of terrain executing aerial combat, emergency supply drops, strafing and bombing runs while battling hostile jets, helicopters and tanks. F-18 Hornet features all of the action of carrier based jets including thrilling aircraft carrier take-offs and landings in smooth 3-D animation.
Space Shuttle is a simulation game where you are the pilot of space shuttle Discovery. Your goal is to launch the Discovery, establish an orbit around the Earth, open the cargo bay doors and recover a satellite to perform repairs, and finally land the Discovery successfully, all while using as little fuel as possible. Each time the complete mission is accomplished, it will then repeat at a higher difficulty level (in the higher difficulty levels the satellite has a more erratic flight path). The game is played from a first person perspective in the space shuttle cockpit where you can control everything from the shuttles engines to cargo bay doors. When the game is over you will be given a ranking which is based on the number of successful dockings and the amount of fuel that was used.
Life & Death is a game which casts you as a doctor in a hospital. Your job is to diagnose patients and administer appropriate therapies, or even perform surgery when necessary.
To diagnose a patient, you have to press on his or her abdomen, to see which portions of the stomach cause pain. Basing on this knowledge, you can choose a therapy for him (observation, medication or referring to another specialist) or administer a X-Ray or ultrasound scan to get more information about his illness.
In some cases, surgery will be necessary. You're the surgeon and you have to perform the operation very carefully, adhering strictly to the procedures, preserving hygiene, and maintaining care when cutting up the patient.
Should you mistakenly administer the wrong therapy, or kill your patient at the operating table, you're kicked into the medical school, where you're given hints as to what you've done wrong.
Gunship 2000 is a helicopter simulation game. The game consists of a set of missions mostly search and destroy or survival style. The simulation engine is quite real and complex to understand but simulates almost all aspects of the war environment. Your main purpose is to destroy the primary and secondary targets. You are not rewarded for missing those objects, even if you manage to destroy everything else. The really successful pilots are rewarded for hitting the targets and getting back in less than thirty minutes.
Gunboat is a 3D action simulation of River patrol U.S. Gunboat. Your Gunboat carries a crew of four men. A first-class petty officer who serves as boat captain and pilot. A gunner’s mate, who controls the forward guns. An engine man, who takes care of the engines and serves as midship gunner and a seaman who controls the guns.
The player configures each plane's loadout for your mission, plans the mission package, then fly your missions. The player's task is to configure the planes and to plan and execute each mission, commanding multiple sections of each plane.
