The player configures each plane's loadout for your mission, plans the mission package, then fly your missions. The player's task is to configure the planes and to plan and execute each mission, commanding multiple sections of each plane.
You play the part of the head of a railroad company, with the aim of creating your own railroad empire, providing a successful mass transit system that will be an inspiration to the rest of the world. Another goal is to provide the impetus for your chosen city to develop. There are a number of different places to set up business each with different layouts and existing houses and businesses.
The main money earners are passenger trains, that can be scheduled to pick up passengers at the times of day when the demand is high. However, in the long term you need the city to develop. This requires setting up trains that transport resources to where they are needed. These resources are used to build houses, and other buildings, increasing the number of passengers for your commuter trains.
As the city develops, new businesses will spring up, such as stadiums, high rise office blocks, and ski resorts. You can also build your own businesses, the success of which will depend on the local population, the presence of competin

SimEarth is a planet simulator - a model of a planet. It is a game, an educational toy, and an enjoyable tool. With SimEarth you can take over many included planets, or design and create your own.
SimEarth treats the planet as a whole: life climate the atmosphere, and the planet itself - from dirt and rock to the molton core - all affect on each other.
You will see your planet as a whole - from a satellite's point of view, at two levels of magnification.
SimEarth can be played in two modes: game and experimental. In game mode, you will try to develop, manage, and preserve your planet within allotted energy budgets.
In experimental mode, you are given enlimited energy to mold your planet. This allows you to set up any stage of development, and then introduce any new factors you want and see what happens. In this mode SimEarth is a "planetary spreadsheet."
Your SimEarth planets will be poulates by electronic life-forms called SimEarthlings. Sim Earthlings range from single-celled plants and animals to intellegent

Balance of the Planet is an environmental management simulation.
It is the successor to Balance of Power.
Chris Crawford seems to have a special liking for problems of global concern. Balance of Power dealt with politics in the cold war, its successor Balance of the Planet simulates nothing less than Earth's ecosystem. Although Maxis' Sim Earth is often credited as the first "ecosim", the title rightfully belongs to Crawford's game. Both games are equally interesting nevertheless, as they use two vastly different approaches to an enormously complex subject.
Sim Earth tries to simulate the natural processes, i.e. continental drift, weather, global temperature etc. as accurately as possible, and calculates the global impact from this basic conditions. Balance of the Planet breaks down the ecological system into 150 single factors, connected in a cause-and-effect network. Rather than experiencing the ecosystem as a whole, you discover a string of subjects that influence each other. For example, when dealing with gl
War erupts once again along the west coast of America, although this time it is with a drug baron. The military is put to action, and the most advanced jets in the U.S. inventory are put to the test: the F-14, F/A-18, and the YF-23 (Northrop's black-skinned fighter that eventually lost the ATF contract to Lockheed/Martin's YF-22).
Game options include an "adventure" (i.e. campaign) mode, where mission successes and failures dynamically affect the overall war, free flight, and various other single mission scenarios. The YF-23 has the naval package, which allows it to participate in carrier-borne operations alongside the F-14 and F/A-18.
Graphically, the engine has been updated to take advantage of the latest in VGA technologies, and included the popular "gradient" horizon. And like its predecessor Jetfighter, San Francisco is featured with its notable landmarks.
Your city is under siege. Protect it or die. Jets. Tanks. Gun Boats. Giant Robots. Choppers. They're all out to destroy you. But you've got the power and speed of an F-15 behind you and all the ammo you need to decimate the enemy.

Simulation of aerial combat and gallantry in World War I.
Flying north along the road from Lille to bust a German recon balloon, I wave to the foot boys in their muddy trenches. Poor devils. Oh, how they envy me!
Off to the left! Can it be? The scoundrel in the red Fokker! My dear chum Bates signaled that his gun was jammed, but that greedy Hun downed him nonetheless.
The Fokker is flying east. Homeward, low on petrol, no doubt. The balloon can wait. This won't take long.
The Their Finest Hour: Battle of Britain Mission Disk is an expansion pack that enhances the original World War II flight simulation game. This add-on content injects new life into the base game by providing 23 additional missions, offering players fresh challenges and scenarios to test their aerial combat skills in the context of the historic Battle of Britain.
A key feature of this expansion is the inclusion of one experienced pilot for each aircraft type available in the game. These veteran pilots likely come with enhanced abilities or characteristics, allowing players to experience missions from the perspective of seasoned airmen. This addition not only increases the gameplay variety but also adds a layer of historical authenticity to the simulation, as it reflects the importance of experienced pilots during the actual conflict. By expanding the mission roster and introducing these skilled pilots, the Mission Disk aims to deepen the strategic depth and replayability of Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain,
This simulation puts you in the cockpit of the A-10 Thunderbolt II, which is also known as the "Warthog". As the game's name implies, it is used mainly to weaken enemy tanks, but also for destroying roads and bridges. You are armed with Avenger 30mm cannons which can fire around 70 times a second. Multiple camera angles are featured. Landing is automated and an accelerated time function is on offer. Characters have full AI to act without your involvement, and will communicate with you in-flight. Actions in one mission affect another - something you failed to destroy in one mission can attack you later.
A320 Airbus is a flight simulator personal computer game released in 1991 in which the player pilots an Airbus A320. The game was developed over three years, with cooperation from Lufthansa, Deutsche Airbus and Jeppesen. Originally the game was written by Rainer Bopf on Amiga[1] and converted to the Atari ST by Christian Jungen.[2] Last known version of the game is 1.44.[1]
In 1993 Thalion published two data disks which could be played as a separate game. They were based on the latest version of the game engine. They focused on different flying areas. Europe Edition[3] covered the area of Europe and USA Edition[4] covered the area of USA. In the latter player was able to choose the region of West Coast USA or North East USA.
In 1995 Games 4 Europe software house published an official sequel called A320 Airbus Vol. 2. It was entirely written by Rainer Bopf with no additional help from third parties.[5]
