A robot is shooting at you - lob a grenade to destroy it. Boom! But once it's gone, a tougher robot takes its place!
Steve Montero developed this game at Activision after programming the robot-themed Night Stalker at Mattel Electronics. The game was completed in late 1983, just as Activision decided to give up on releasing new Intellivision titles. It was finally released in 2001 on the Intellivision Rocks CD.
Prier and her brother Culotte are novices with the demon-hunting organization, La Pucelle. They've just passed their final exams and are ready to do real work fighting demons and zombies, but quickly find themselves embroiled in a series of plots orchestrated by a rival church with dark intentions. The gameplay is played on a tactical map, as teams up to six characters work to clear boards of enemies and dark energy. The unique "purify" command allows players to recruit monsters to their team and execute complex "miracle" energy attacks.
The game was ported to the PlayStation Portable in Japan on November 26, 2009 as La Pucelle Ragnarok.
What could be better than an Asterix game? Two Asterix games, of course! Indeed, this extraordinary cartridge designed for GameBoy Advance offers the lucky player two games for the price of one.
Allow us to introduce the one on the right, inspired by Asterix and Cleopatra. Your mission, as you control our two heroes, is to help Edifis with the construction of a palace for Cleopatra. Mainly, you'll be defending him from the vile stratagems of his rival Artifis and Caesar's watchful legions.
In the game on my left, "Asterix and Obelix," the idea is to bring souvenirs from every country in the Roman Empire to Julius Caesar, who deluded himself into thinking he could confine our indomitable Gauls to their village. Hang onto your helmet as your package tour, eventful as ever, takes you to see the wonders of (Great) Brittany, Helvetia, Greece, Mesopotamia, and Spain.
Heli Heroes updates the old-school "shoot'em up" arcade machine games to new dimensions on today's PCs. You command an AH-64 Apache Longbow or a Russian Hokum helicopter. The goal is to fly through various levels and carry out the mission objectives. During the missions you will find different types of weapons and additional offensive and defensive systems. The game's look and feel is made up of a 3D landscape that you fly your helicopter over, through and into. The mix of reality and Sci-Fi missions vary from destroying Iraqi oilfields up to fighting against the "Big Boss" enemies in Alaska.
Take on the world in 10 different events. Compete in two forms of Ski Jumping (K=90 and K=120), Alpine Skiing Downhill, Freestlye Skiing Moguls, Short Track 500 (skating), Figure Skating, Snowboard G Slalom, Snowboarding Halfpipe, Biathlon, and the Luge.
You can compete in trials of each event, the competition of all 10 events, or in excite mode. Try for medals from each event. See if you can come in first in all events, and then try to beat your own records.
Events require pressing buttons quickly for speed, pressing buttons in the right order at the right time to do tricks, and turning. The Figure Skating event is very much like the Dance Dance series of games.
Genma Onimusha contained many changes from the original release. Besides the requisite minor graphical upgrade, there were various changes to increase the difficulty. Monsters are stronger and there are generally more of them throughout the game, but the most significant addition is green soul energy. Some foes release this when they die and the player must capture it before other monsters do. The player can gain temporary invulnerability, but the monsters become faster and stronger. Additionally, there is a new area, several new costumes, enemies limbs can be cut off by your weapon on certain conditions, some new cut scenes and a new super attack.
After the dragon rider Rynn returns to her home village, she finds it destroyed, and all its inhabitants massacred. Her dragon, Arokh, tells her that he hears a voice that calls them to the city of Surdana. There, they find out that race of three-faced monsters, called Desert Lords, have been terrorizing the human population recently. In order to fight them, the humans need powerful allies. But the gateway to the world of dragons has been sealed, and only a dragon of the Elder Breed can open it. Rynn and Arokh must now venture to the dragon world, restore the bond between humans and dragons, and defeat the Desert Lords.
Drakan: The Ancients' Gates is an action game with RPG elements. The player will take control of both Rynn and Arokh during the course of the game. Arokh's gameplay involves flying to distant lands and dealing with some of the more powerful foes. Rynn's gameplay has more RPG elements, as she can specialize in the arts of melee fighting, archery, or magic, acquiring experience from defeated enemies.

In the action-oriented 3D role-playing game Darkened Skye, the player takes the role of the title character and embarks on a quest to collect four prisms that may help bring the light of goodness back to the world. Skye of Lynlora was just a restless shepherd when she first came across the strange item that would change her life forever. Now she has opened a portal to another place and chaos has come forth. Only Skye can set things right once again. She will face an assortment of fantasy characters and creatures in her journeys as she makes her way through 30 missions set across five different game worlds. It is notable that, like some other releases from publisher Simon and Schuster (including the Boston Animation-developed M&M's: The Lost Formulas), this game features prominent product placement in the form of Skittles brand fruit-flavored candies. Indeed, it is the mystic power of Skittles that moves Skye through more than one threatening game situation. In spite of any potential incongruities of featuring a fam
