Blue's Clues: Blue's Alphabet Book is an educational game for the Game Boy Color.

Overview

Blue's Clues: Blue's Alphabet Book is an educational game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Mattel Interactive for the Game Boy Color platform.

Gameplay

In Blue's Clues: Blue's Alphabet Book the goal is to collect all of the clues to figure out the answer to the riddle.

The game contains six different mini-games. Upon completion of each game the player will be presented with a clue marked by one of Blue's pawprints. Each of the mini games can be played in an unlimited manner by selecting them rather than Blue's book.

The six mini-games are:

Xylophone

In the xylophone mini games players must watch a series of notes played on a colorful xylophone. The player then copies the series of notes. Once three sets of notes are copied successfully the player will be presented with the clue.

Food

In the food game players are shown a picture of a food item on a book. The player must then choose the same food item from the tray in front of them. After six correct choices the clue will be revealed.

Beach

In the beach game players take control of Blue as she tries to push a letter to complete a word through a path in the sand. The player will have the clue revealed when this is completed twice.

Alphabet Soup

Blue has a bowl in front of her with a word in her soup. Players must find the letters in their own bowl to spell the same word. Once the entire word has been spelled the clue will be found.

Bath Tub

Slippery Soap presents the player with eight bubbles. When each bubble is popped a letter is revealed. In order to clear the bubbles two of them in succession must the cleared containing the same letter. The clue is given when all the bubbles are popped for good.

Leaf Catch

Players control a basket at the bottom of the screen in a forest. Leaves fall down with letters on them and the player must catch the ones matching the letter on the basket. The clue is found when three leaves are successfully caught.
