Overview
Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is a classic game compilation developed and digitally published by Digital Eclipse for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime on March 13, 2024.
The second installment of Digital Eclipse's Gold Master Series of "interactive documentaries", Llamasoft focuses on the titular studio of the same name and its founder, Jeff Minter. Interweaved with historical documents and behind-the-scenes videos, the compilation features 40 of his games from several computer systems (one of which is notable for being a demo created for the unreleased Konix Multi-System), two of his earliest "light synthesizers" (Psychedelia and Colourspace), and a reimagined version of the 1982 game Gridrunner (as Gridrunner Remastered).
