It was designed by acclaimed writer and game designer, Jane Jensen, most famous for her adventure games in the Gabriel Knight franchise. It won the 2007 Game of the Year award at the Zeeby Casual Game Awards.
Plot
The plot follows Agatha Christie regular, detective Hercule Poirot. He has boarded a small river cruise ship with a cast of characters including the ill-fated lovers Jacqueline de Bellefort and Simon Doyle, Bellefort's best friend Linnet Ridgeway, the maid Louise Bourget, Linnet's lawyer Andrew Pennington, and the wealthy heiress Marie Van Schuyler (to name a few). As is prone to happen in an Agatha Christie mystery, a murder takes place and the story takes off from there.
