n the early hours of a dewy November day, Contessa Cornelia Foster reports her daughter, a renowned researcher and famous shut-in, missing from their manor. She was rumoured to be on the cusp of a major breakthrough. That morning, a bloodstain was found on the floor of her lab. She’s not the only one unaccounted for. Her lab assistant and an artist-in-residence are also mysteriously absent. Your clues are two crucial sources: A diary entry from the lab assistant and a sketch from the artist-in-residence, both dated the previous day. Their accounts are curiously contradictory.
