Justice League Task Force is a 2D superhero fighting game developed by Sunsoft (in conjunction with Blizzard and Condor) and published by Acclaim for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Genesis on June 1995.
Set in the DC Universe, the game focuses on the Justice League team of superheroes after alien Darkseid (along with his lackeys Cheetah and Despero) begins his attack on Earth. In the main story, players choose from one of six members of the team as they track down the other members for information (only to be attacked by each of them for no apparent reason).
The game is notable for being the second and last licensed game co-developed by Blizzard (who are better known for their original franchises, namely Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo), the first being The Death and Return of Superman.
