Counter-Strike 2

Overview

Counter-Strike 2 is a free-to-play modern-military first-person shooter developed and published digitally by Valve for the PC and Linux on September 27, 2023.

The fifth main installment of the Counter-Strike series, Counter-Strike 2 is an updated replacement of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, bringing it to the Source 2 engine while featuring numerous technical improvements and graphical fidelity updates.

Most maps and features were brought over from Global Offensive. However, several were not, including some games modes (such as Demolition, Arms Race, and Danger Zone), several maps, Mac support, Steam Achievements, map-based factions, and several console commands.
