Overview
P-47 Aces is a historical-fantasy side-scrolling shoot-'em-up developed by NMK and released by Jaleco for arcades in March 1995.
A sequel to the 1988 game P-47: The Phantom Fighter, P-47 Aces features a significant update to the game engine while allowing plays to pick from four aircraft, each with their own weaponry: the P-47 "Thunderbolt" (piloted by Sgt. Jody S.), the P-61 "Blackwidow" (piloted by Sgt. Kim Blair), the Fairey Swordfish (piloted by Cpt. Uncle), and the Supermarine Spitfire (piloted by Sgt. Harry B.).
