Game Face: Launch Fiasco, No Eyebrows Tiger Woods 08 introduced the Game Face feature, by which users can import a file via a web interface into the game. At launch, and for the following few weeks, this feature was severely crippled by slow web services and a sketchy uploading process. Once the initial surge of demand passed, the system stabilized and functionality was re-established, not without triggering a storm of user complaints.

Moreover, the Game Face feature lacked the ability to add eyebrows to created characters, although eyebrows could be added to non-Game Face characters. This significantly diminished the photorealistic effect the feature was meant to deliver.
