Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp

Overview

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a compilation of strategy games developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch.

Initially slated to come out in April of 2022, the release was pushed back indefinitely as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February. Nintendo felt that, given the subject matter and even some of the locales (which can feature snow and urban environments), the game was not appropriate to release in the midst of Europe's largest-scale military operation since World War II. The game was released the following year on April 21 with no changes or alterations.
