Live Penalty

Live Penalty is a free-to-play mobile game with elimination and multiplayer features. The game connects the digital and the real world of sports, starting with football. It is produced by Live Penalty s.r.o, developed by STRV (web and app development company) and run in cooperation with Frame100r (film production company).

The mobile app is available on iOS and Android and was released on February 17, 2020.

In the game, digital players can control a customized football launching machine and shoot real footballs against real goalkeepers on a stage. There are various collectibles throughout the game (Goals, LivePoints, LiveCoins, Goalkeeper cards, etc) and the gamer with the most collectibles joins the ranks of the best Live Penalty players on the leaderboard.

Certain games have free entry while others require the in-app currency called LiveCoins (LCs). These LCs can be obtained by either watching ads, winning some during the game, or purchasing them in the store. Additional features such as Extra Life or performance enhancers can be acquired too in order to extend and improve the gameplay.

The team recently got rewarded for their work. They made 2nd place in the Czech startup competition, Vodafone's Napad Roku 2020 (Idea of the Year) and even won Huawei's special category.
