Elite Starfighter

Elite Starfighter is an Elite clone by Pepper Games in which the player get to experience a universe with 2000 star systems, with the options to engage in piracy, trading, bounty hunting and exploration. The game was only released in Germany.

Elite Starfighter is a literal Elite clone, referencing "the C-64 classic" on the box cover and even naming the starting ship the Cobra MK 4 after Elite II's Cobra Mk III. Despite the explicit similarities, Elite Starfighter got a commercial release.
