ARK: Survival Evolved was released as an Early Access Game in June 2015 and has still not left this stage as of February 2017. It was originally planned to get a full release in June 2016:

Xbox One X Enhancements

The Xbox One X version of the game provides players with true sky dynamics, greater draw distances, HDR vivid colour, and faster loading times.

The following is a complete list of enhancements provided:

• Option to select between a detail mode with 30 FPS gameplay at 1440p or a medium quality mode with 60 FPS at 1080p
• The 1440p detail mode brings the following enhancements:
  • Long-range shadows
  • High quality textures
  • Extended draw distances
  • A true sky system which renders volumetric clouds
  • Realistic atmospheric fog and sunlight scattering
  • Dynamic weather systems
• In local split screen multiplayer, players can now split up to independently explore the islands
• Xbox One X servers are able to host 70 players in a game
• Improved loading and streaming times
