Battle Group 2 was develop by Bane Games and publish by Merge Games on June 13, 2014 for PC, Mac, and Linux on the Steam service. The game was latter publish on IOS and Google Play Store by Right Pedal Studios. The game is currently a IGF China 2014 Finalist.
