Pro Evolution Soccer 2 is the second instalment in the popular Pro Evolution Soccer video game series. It was developed and published by Konami, and was released in 2002.
It was released as Winning Eleven 6 in Japan, and World Soccer: Winning Eleven 6 International Edition in North America (the series has since been renamed Pro Evolution Soccer for the North American market).
This game was the last in the series to be released on the Sony PlayStation, alongside its release on the PlayStation 2 console. The game was also released on the Nintendo Gamecube in Japan.
The game received a number of positive reviews, with many critics commenting on how the game made a number of improvements over the previous title. This was most notable with regard to factors such as the general pace and feel of the game, in addition to improvements to features such as the Master League mode (which saw a massive overhaul in the form of a brand new transfer system).
Like the previous title, the game has support for 1-2 players.
