Overview

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is a turn-based RPG mixed with a life simulation developed by Alfa System, MARS Corp and Sony's Japan Studio for the PlayStation Vita. The game is a sequel to the cult classic title, Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke, that was released for the original PlayStation in 1999.

In the game, the player takes control of a samurai family that has been cursed by an evil sorcerer with a two year life-span. Normally a death sentence, they are given a chance to break the curse by the gods who bless them with children that will mature in 6 months. The player must then manage the family's resources, strengthen the clan and ensuring that a new generation stands ready to pick up the fight against the sorcerer when the older family members' time is up.

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines was published in Japan on July 17, 2014 and was released as a digital only title in Western territories in March of 2015.
