A licensed golf video game released in 1995 for the Super Famicom.

Overview

St. Andrews: Eikou to Rekishi no Old Course ("St. Andrews: Old Course of History and Glory") is a golf game based on the eponymous prestigious golf course St. Andrews Links in Scotland. St. Andrews is frequently the home of The British Open (or simply The Open): one of the four major tournaments of professional golf.

The game features a tournament mode, a single-player stroke play mode and a two-player match play. The player can also practice with the training mode. The game depicts each of its courses with a slight angle, and has a harsh learning curve as the player must hit the right trajectory of the swing as well as the power level.
