Cargo Commander

Cargo Commander

A 2D sidescroller "action platform" roguelike game from small Netherlands developer Serious Brew, in which players jump and drill through cubic cargo containers in space as the eponymous Cargo Commander.

Overview

Players find themselves looking at a cutaway view of a cube-shaped ship that the eponymous Cargo Commander calls home; from this home base, players magnetically draw cargo containers towards them. Gameplay primarily involves drilling through the walls of these containers, jumping between and inside them, and getting 'cargo' - cube-shaped collectibles.

This is the first release from new development studio Serious Brew. The game was released for PC and Mac on November 1, 2012 via Steam.
