Nostalgia 1907

Nostalgia 1907 is an adventure that takes place abroad the cruise ship "Nostalgia" where an unknown villain has detonated a bomb on the boat.

Overview

Nostalgia 1907 is a mystery adventure game set on the titular ship in the titular year. It was first released on the Sharp X68000 home computer, before being ported to the NEC PC-98, FM Towns, and Sega Mega-CD. The Mega-CD version boasts full voice acting and higher quality music due to the CD format.

A Japanese passenger on board the cruise liner, Kasuke Yamada, is suddenly put under suspicion when a bomb goes off and a threatening note left behind demanding a treasure hidden somewhere on the ship: the bomb's pieces originated in Japan, forcing Yamada to prove his own innocence and find the true culprit.

Nostalgia 1907 largely uses decision-based prompts to propel the story forward, requiring that the player remember clues and respond correctly to NPC questions.
