Frogger: The Great Quest

Frogger: The Great Quest

Everybody's favorite arcade frog returns as a bipedal redneck frog, on a quest to find a princess to turn him into a prince.

Overview

Frogger: The Great Quest is a 3D third-person platformer developed by KCE Papa Yeti and published by Konami for the PlayStation 2 in North America on November 18, 2001. It was later released in Europe on May 24, 2002, and received a PC port in North America on September 14, 2002. A handheld version was developed by KCE America as a 2D side-scrolling platformer titled Frogger Advance: The Great Quest, published for the Game Boy Advance on May 26, 2002 (in North America) and September 27, 2002 (in Europe).

The first Frogger game developed by Konami since the original arcade game, The Great Quest re-imagines the titular frog as a bipedal clothes-wearing frog, as he journeys through a dangerous world (filled with killer animals, goblins, and even vampires) to find a princess that can turn him into a prince (similar to the fairy tale The Frog Prince).
