Abyss of the Sacrifice

Overview

Misshitsu no Sacrifice (密室のサクリファイス) is an escape room adventure game initially released for the PlayStation Portable by D3 Publisher on February 4, 2010. Intense developed the original game and later returned to the title on December 17, 2020 when they created a remastered version of Misshitsu no Sacrifice for the PC and Nintendo Switch. The port featured a polished presentation and several quality of life improvements. This version of the game was also released in English simultaneously with the Japanese release under the name Abyss of the Sacrifice.

Story

The title stars five young women that live in an underground city known as "Foundation." The complex facility has been around for so long that all of its residents no longer know who made the city or what the surface looks like. One day some kind of disaster takes place and the five girls find themselves alone as their home begins to fall apart. The girls must navigate the labyrinthine structure and find a way to safety.
