The Call of Duty series comes to the iPhone in this zombie-themed offshoot that is a close port of the Nazi Zombies gamemode in Call of Duty: World at War.

Overview

Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies is a near direct port of the Nazi Zombies game mode in the console World at War game and features the same frenetic gameplay with some all new touch controls. Released on November 16th, 2009 by Activision, the game is nearly identical to its console counterpart and is available for $9.99 in the Apple App Store.
 

Gameplay

Zombies features three different touch control schemes; Players can control the game with standard dual virtual analog sticks, a single analog stick and swipe-based aiming or accelerometer tilt aiming controls. The game involves fighting off zombies with weapons that can be purchased off the walls of the map or in random chests. New areas of maps are purchased and windows can be barricaded with planks.

Verrückt Zombie Asylum   
"Electroshock therapy. Chemically engineered beverages. Hordes of Undead Nazis. Find the power to unite and send them back to their graves!" Based on the Asylum World at War multiplayer map, players fortify themselves in an abandoned insane asylum which allows for the usage of electricity as a defense mechanism when power is restored to the building.
Shi No Numa
 
"Maggot ridden corpses. Bug infested swamp. Hundreds of undead Imperial Army. Choose your tactic and defend for your lives!" The only map to feature Japanese zombies, Shi No Numa takes place in a jungle type location which has four main buildings which are connected by unlockable swamp paths.
