Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is a PlayStation Portable game released in 2007 by Bandai Namco Entertainment in North America, Europe, Oceania, and South Korea. It is built on the engine of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 - The Phantom Fortress, which was released in Japan in 2006, but wasn't released in the west until 2008. Incidentally, that game was released before this one in South Korea.
Instead of an extensive story mode as The Phantom Fortress has, players are challenged with an arcade mode utilizing teams, as opposed to individual characters. Single characters are still playable in vs. CPU and multiplayer modes.
