New Features

Assist Attack. Similar to Support Attack, except that all compatible units use their weapons at the same time (before the primary attack). Almost identical to the Platoon Attack of Super Robot Wars Alpha 2, Alpha 3, and Z.
Double Attack. Somewhat similar to the Combo attack of SRW D, some attacks allow the player to choose two targets adjacent to each other. The ALLW attack of Original Generations is based on this move.
Favorite Series. Before the start of the game, the player is asked to choose 3 separate series (including Banpresto Originals); the units from the chosen series gain more upgrade slots than everyone else. This system returns in SRW J, SRW W, and SRW K.
