Sword of Mana is actually a remake of the first game in the Seiken Densetsu/Mana series, Seiken Densetsu, released in North America as Final Fantasy Adventure and in PAL regions as Mystic Quest. The game was developed by Brownie Brown and was published in Japan by Square Enix and in North America and PAL regions by Nintendo.
