Attack Animal Gakuen

Attack Animal Gakuen

Animal Attack Gakuen is a NES run-and-gun shooter that uses the Z-axis, similarly to Sega's Space Harrier. It was only released in Japan, on December 26th 1987.

Overview

Animal Attack Gakuen ("Animal Attack Academy") is a third-person run-and-gun shooter that has more than a few similarities to Space Harrier. Rather than being a space adventurer on an alien world, Animal Attack Gakuen has the player control a schoolgirl as she blasts various evil animals in a bid to rescue her friends.

The game was one of the few to incorporate the Famicom 3-D System glasses, which, like this game, were never released outside of Japan.
