Shaun White Snowboarding is a snowboarding game that uses the 'Scimitar' game engine (Also used to power Assassin's Creed). It features the famous Olympian snowboarder, Shaun White. The Wii version is extremely different from the 360 and PS3 versions. The 360 and PS3 versions of this game feature more realistic graphics, while the Wii version had a "cartoon-y" art style and took advantage of the Wii balance board. Both versions of the game include different stories and levels as well
The gameplay in Shaun White Snowboarding heavily revolves around collecting coins scattered around the four mountains in the game: Alaska, Japan, Europe, and Park City. Once the player collects all of the coins Shaun White teaches you a new "focus move" that allows the player to access new areas and challenges.
The Target edition of Shaun White Snowboarding features an extra mountain that is covered in Target-related branding.
