Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers (stylized as RB2: The Newcomers, known in Japan as Real Bout Garou Densetsu 2 - The Newcomers, the former sub-title loosely translating to "Real Bout: Legend of the Hungry Wolf 2") is a 2D fighting game developed and released by SNK for arcades (using the Neo Geo MVS hardware) in March 19, 1998.

The seventh installment of the Fatal Fury series, Real Bout 2 builds upon Real Bout Fatal Fury Special by revamping the "two line" system (making it more like the "oversway" system from Fatal Fury 3 and Real Bout Fatal Fury), removing the breakable stage edges, and adding new one-line stages (similar to the one-line "hazard" stages from Fatal Fury 2 and Fatal Fury Special). Series antagonist Geese Howard returns as a playable character, while two newcomers are added: Chinese waitress Li Xiangfei and Native American boxer Rick Strowd. It is the last game in the series to use the classic Fatal Fury gameplay and graphical style, as the series would move on to a traditional fighting game style in Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

The game was released on the Neo Geo AES on April 29, 1998 and ported to the Neo Geo CD on July 23, 1998. It was later included in the Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 2 compilation for the PlayStation 2, and was digitally released on the Wii (via Wii Virtual Console) in 2012 (June 19 for Japan, September 27 for North America, and October 4 for Europe). It was also included in some Humble NEO GEO Bundles starting in late 2015 for the PC, Mac, and Linux (both downloadable, with ROMs included, and on modern browsers).
